Re: Fiction Island Roleplay
I ignored Marina's screams of 'He's naked!' because the man, thankfully, wasn't naked, and then stood up, wincing - almost hissing in pain but I refrained from doing that - as I felt the sharp shooting pain go through my right ankle. Oh yeah, I had fractured it a little, not completely broken the bone but broken it enough to cause a huge amount of pain. Shifting my weight onto my good ankle, I looked around at the cave, searching for the stick I had used yesterday to walk but it wasn't here. Great, just my luck. It was either try hopping over to the others or have Peeta help me, and I didn't want to owe him anything more so I hopped over to the others. "Do you know that person?" I whispered quietly to them.
"They do, I don't." I answered Katniss, yawning a little before going over to the other side of the fire, away from Ezio the assassin, and lying down, falling asleep easily.
"Mhmm! Honey replied with a grin." You were warm, so I slept really well. "Did you sleep well?" He asked the older woman, before he got an answer though, he spotted the orange glow of a fire and as he looked over, he spotted Takashi by it. "Hey look! Takashi managed to make a fire! Maybe that's why you were so warm."

The apple! O-M-G! The apple is amazing, though terribly powerful. If he had it with him. WOW! We would be invincible. Though you should never use it for world domination. It always goes terrible. And the Templars! Oh! What if they were here? We must not let them have it!... what am I doing. Come on. This is no time to be a hero. Katniss comes over hopping. I noticed she was suffering yesterday. I didn't know why though.
I try to force a few ties. "You mean it? you really mean it?" I was happy though. I couldn't hid that and I didn't need to. They would suffer. Once this weather was over, the games would begin and they will go down. It may not be a satisfactory as standing over there bodies watching them drift off, but I would have won. "Thank you."

I was beginning to give up on volunteer work but they just called and said they wanted to see me Monday and 4:30pm! Yay!

Penny: "No problem sweety." I said to him with a small smile. Hopefully this storm would be over soon. I was getting sick of watching bolts of lightning strike so close, it always seemed close, tired of hearing the thunder, I was getting bored of hearing the raindrops pelt the area around us, the scent of mud was starting to irritate my sense of smell.
Ashley: I smiled at Honey. "Yeah, maybe it was the fire that kept us warm." I said to him. I had slept well once I had managed to go back to sleep. The nightmare didn't haunt me twice in the night, which I was glad about.
Sorry for rubbish posts, my brain has been melting XD

Re: Fiction Island Roleplay
"Mhmm!" Honey smiled and then he realised something: he couldn't hear the rain. He got up and headed towards the mouth of the den and then beamed a huge grin. "Hey guys, they rain's stopped the storms over!" He looked and then ran over to Takashi, climbing onto his cousins shoulders as he held Usa-chan. "Look Takashi, the rain's stopped!"
Mori stood up carefully, trying not to drop Mitsukuni, and then walked over to the den's entrance, nodding his head in agreement when he saw that the rain had indeed stopped. The ground seemed flooded with water, but that wouldn't matter much as long as there weren't snakes around. Mori turned his head back to Ashley and the sleeping boy, Clyde, then and nodded his head once again. "It has stopped. We can leave now."
The storm has stopped, and cool! BBQs are awesome!

Ashley: I nodded and followed them to the edge of the den. "We just have to wait for Clyde to wake up then we can go." I said, pointing out the pretty obvious fact. I heard grumbling behind us then saw him waking up. "Okay, so we don't have to wait for as long as I thought." I added with a small smile.
Clyde: I grumbled a little as I woke up. "The storms stopped?" I managed to mutter out the question. When I got a nod from blondie, I mean, Ashley. I also walked to the edge of the den. "What do we do now then?" I asked looking to the other two. We couldn't wait around for the Doctor too magically appear in his tardis, could we?!

Re: Fiction Island Roleplay
There was a few moments of silence from then on. I stayed with my thoughts for a while, thinking my plan through again. Checking that there wouldn't be any hitches. She may become suspicious when she doesn't find my pictures, but I could say they could of thrown them away and that they were useless to them. Then I looked out side to see beams of light hitting the ground and the ground twinkling from the rain. And the rain its self was stopping. It was only light rain but it was sunny again. This was the start of my revenge. "Look, it's stopping!" I point.
Re: Fiction Island Roleplay
"Well the mutts that lived here will probably return so we should leave this place." Honey answered with a shrug. "And we'll need to find somewhere where we can make a shelter, maybe near a river or lake or something, and then get some food and stuff so we can survive for a little while." He thought for a moment and then looked at Ashley and Clyde. "Do you guys know how to make a boat? Because we'll need a boat to get off of this island."
Re: Fiction Island Roleplay
Clyde: I watched as Ashley shook her head slowly, then I shrugged. "Can't be that hard, right?" I said, it would probably take a bit of time, but if I had learnt anything at all from being friends with Luke and the Doctor, it's that you can do anything if you put your mind to it.
Penny: "So it is." I said watching as the rain slowed to a stop. I looked to him again. "I'm gonna see if I can find any good food, will you be alright here?" I asked him, I hated leaving him on his own like this. I had found my coat hanger and the rope, so I took the hook off and started to tie it to the rope.

"Sure. I'll be fine... but if you could though... maybe find the flower." Was I pushing it? Maybe, but I don't think she would deny trying to find it for me. "It's purple, and if you do pick it up, don't touch the petals." That was where the poison was and could easily going into the bloodstream through your skin.
I sense it before I even begin to see it. Light pours in through the cave's mouths. The skies begin to clear outside and the wind drops. The storm has passed! Yay! "Look," I say to Penny. "It's stopping!" Maybe would could find Honey and the others again. I did hope he was okay and found shelter last night... and I hope we see him again. I do miss his company, even though sometimes he can be moody if he doesn't have his cake or sweets. I go over to the others in interrupt there conversation. "It's stopping! It's Stopping!" I did like the cave but I did hope we would go back to the lake. I had grown to like that place very much.
Sorry, my internet went out.

Penny: I nodded for a moment when he asked me, then when he said that I shouldn't touch the petals I looked at him. "Why?" I asked him, my voice kind of serious.

Re: Fiction Island Roleplay
"Well, because." I had to be quick. I wasn't expecting her to answer back. "Because you'll become very sleepy and if you touch it too much you might pass out. It gets into your fingers you see and then your blood." That's good enough, isn't it. I though I did a good job of making that up on the spot. But if she did touch the petals though, I wouldn't be sure if she would last. There was no way I would be able to do this without her.
Re: Fiction Island Roleplay
We were walking around for hours. I had pick up some berries of a bush we passed, so that filled me up enough for breakfast. It wouldn't of filled me up though if I was back a Jordan. Sometimes I would eat dinner with the master and there would be at least 5 courses. I still wasn't full though so I would sneak into the kitchens with Roger and grab some food from the store cupboards. Pan and Roger would always say to me that we would get court one day, and we did, but they couldn't do anything about us. We were only having fun. I hope Roger was okay. I still had to find him, even if I was in another world. I still had to.
As we walked, I recognized a few familiar passes and realized we were closed to the river. I ran to the place where I believe to be the river and it was. I drank the water, even though it was a bit dirty with all the rain, but even that was stopping along with the wind. By the river the sun was beating down on us, which would soon dry me and Pan off.
We walked down river until we go to the beach and lay there to dry. I took off my coat and pan became a tabby cat, looking over my shoulder at me fiddling with the aliethimeter. I presumed it was broken. I hadn't actually tried it. The glass was broken which made it hard to see the needles but it might not be comepletly broken. I try it out and clear my mind.
"It won't work." Pan whispers.
"Hush!" I snap. I focus on the question, which is How do I get of the island? I bit my lower lip, hoping that the needles would move. There was a long pause. It just had to work! Then, the needle swung, but not with it's usual grace. It was stiff and not like it's usual self, but it was moving and the answer still came to me. "See, it still work! It say that we need to find people, like last time, but I think it's also saying there are more people on the island, other than Danna and Alex."

Oh, nobody is on I'll carry on as Lyra then. I'm happy that the alithometer is okay now
Re: Fiction Island Roleplay
I ask the Alethiometer one more question. I think I should keep my asking to a minimum unless it does finally brake down. I ask it Where can I find the people? Again it takes a while. It would usually say the answer once I had fixed the needles into place, but now it takes ten seconds before there is any movement. I'm confused at first with the pictures of the owl, the cauldron and the bird, but suddenly I see it in my head again, the answer. The bird represents the nest, a home. The caulran and the owl I think mean somewhere dark and hollow, like a cave maybe. "I think we have to find a cave. I think it's telling me we should-" Then the needle moves again. It tells me something else. The pictures of a man, an apple and the hourglass. The man though looks weird, like he is wild or something. Maybe it's warning me. Someone mad. The apple, poisonous, like in Adam and Eve, then the hourglass...death. "I think we should be careful though. I don't think the person or people at the cave will be nice."

Sorry, had to go get my dog since she was stupid enough to climb out of my brother's window, onto the roof and to the ground -_-

Penny: "Oh... Okay." I said, you know, I'm sure he said it was a fruit earlier... I may be a blonde and I may not be super smart, but I did have brains! A few at least. He wouldn't just make this all up though, would he? "Anyway, I'll be back soon." I said as I gave him one last smile then headed out of the shelter and headed to find a sturdy stick and a river. I found the stick first, since the whole area was covered with them. A fair while later after assembling my fishing rod, I found the river. I smiled and tied a worm onto the hook as bait. I had sharpened the edge of the hook so it was sharp now, sharp enough to catch a fish. I caught a few little ones at first, I had a feeling that they were all I was going to catch, then my rod nearly broke as I pulled out a big fish! I grinned before taking them all back to the den. "Couldn't find the flower," I said, I hadn't actually looked, but oh well. "But I caught some fish." I said with a shrug as I put them in the corner to dry off a bit.

Re: Fiction Island Roleplay
lol I know how you feel. My Jack Russel can fit himself through our hedge that separates us from the neighbors and sometimes goes into there gardens to have a dump I find it funny though. I don't like that neighbor much anyway.
"I do like fish." I wasn't overly fussed that she couldn't find the flower. I was expect to find it tomorrow anyway. I though the storm would last longer than it did. It felt long though. So much happened. My legs, the wolf, the others leaving me, the group splitting and Penny finding me. So much has changed. She set up a fire outside the den in a place that was dry. I still couldn't move that well. It was that I could us my hands, just moving what I had left of my legs was still painful. I knew the skin needed to heal over before I could do some proper moving.

Yeah but she must have jumped off the roof to get to the ground!
Penny: "Good, good." I said, getting frustrated about not being able to set the wood alight to make the fire, it was so much harder than it looked! On movies they struck two rocks together and a spark flew off and lit it initiately! I had to scrape them together so many times before it lit, then I had to blow on it carefully to make it bigger. I had put some leaves on as well, so that it could set alight easier. Then surrounded it by rocks so it wouldn't spread. Once done, I found a few sturdy sticks and stuck them into the mud in the form of a slightly deformed X where it was shorter above where they crossed over than below. I did it on the opposit side of the fire two before putting a final piece of wood on top, being held up by both of the X's. The fire was to keep us warm. "How 'bout we each have a little fish now, and the bigger one for lunch?" I suggested, already going to get the two small fish that I caught.

Though Peeta caught fish when we where at the lake, I never had any. I was mostly eating lemer all the time. Maybe the meat I had been eating gave me the strengh when I lost my legs.
