Penny: I was breathing kind of heavily, then I saw Cori crawling out. "Cori, please, go back in the shelter, it's not safe out here." I said to him. Looking back and forth from him to the girl and dog. Tiger? What? I was confused now.

"I'm not dying in there!" I shouted, as I kept on crawling. I didn't dare turn around in case I court the creature's eye. Oh, I'm not going to be able to out move a mutt, am I. Hopefully it goes for Penny first to give me an advantage and have a head start. I use me elbows and shuffle along the jungle floor.

I heard what the boy said,which I can just about see now, as he crawls away from us. I wasn't quite sure why he was crawling until I saw that he had no legs. Die here? Pan must have scared them. I suppose his dog form is quite scary, but he was a tiger now, which I find looks more pretty and takes away the meanness away. "He won't kill you." I clear my throat. "We won't kill you." I see it in her face, though she is a lot calmer than the crawling boy. "I'm sorry if we scared you." I was used to the fact people didn't have daemons now. Spending time with Dana and Alex helped with that.

Penny: I breathed a sigh of relief before walking infront of Cori to stop him. "Calm down, pllease. You're more likely to die in the jungle than in the shelter." I said, trying to persuade him.

I stop at her feet. Why isn't she dead? The mutt would have tore her to pieces by now? I forget that I had heard a girls voice saying that she wouldn't kill us. I sit up as see that I must have imagine growling. Maybe memories are flashing in my head of what happened yesterday. There still so vivid. I look at the girl who has a massive coat around her waist. How strange. She looks about Marina's age. Then I panic again as I see the tiger. No no no no! Not a tiger! "Thatsthatsthatsthats."

"He won't hurt you." I was going to say it nicely but it sort of came out arrogantly. Maybe I found that he was over-reacting a little. It wasn't like Pan was lunging at him. He was at my side, paying more attention to the woman than him. She was more of a threat than he was.

Sorry if I suddenly get angry, I'm just annoyed that my brother's going, because I can't find my stinking bottoms -_-

Penny: I nodded and crouched down. "See, he won't hurt you." I said softly, since he seemed pretty damn scared. "Just go back into the shelter before I have to drag you back in." I told him, I was saying it as nicely as I could, but with a hint of firmness in my voice. I was more concerned about him than me, because he was more vunrable and he was younger as well.

Who the the hell do they think that are?! Treating me like that. I slowly crawl back into the shelter, giving the new guest some serious evils. There wouldn't be enough of those chocolate bars and breakfast bars to go around. Not even the fish. She would have to go, though she could be useful in killing the others for me. A little girl! Who would suspect. But for now, she was a burden on us, and her pet was certainly not welcome. And can she get a tiger? My father said they were too expense though she looks rather cheap.

Once the boy was gone, I turn to the woman. "I am sorry. Is your head okay?"

Penny: "I'm not quite sure." I said as I reached arouns to feel the blood, still coming out a bit, slowly though. "I'm sorry about him." I said with a shrug, wiping my hand on my jeans this time. She could be helpful, we can have the tiger, or dog or whatever it was to keep guard most nights, and he could also hunt for food. They might not like fish, and I couldn't kill any other animals except for fish, so yeah. Plus she would be nice to talk to. Me and Cori had seemed to run out of things to say already.

I look at the back of her head and see that there is blood still coming. If only we had some bloodmoss. Bloodmoss helps heal any bleeding. "Maybe you need to put some pressure on it for a while." I wasn't an expert but I had seen the way the gytians treat injured, and Ma Costa was very good with wounds. "And it's fine. I understand your probably not used to seeing a daemons like me." I face her again. "My name's Lyra."

I'm gonna go see if I can take a nap, I'll be back later

Stopped the acting... I thought about the answer to that for a moment and shrugged. "Kind of, Prim. It turns out it never was acting for Peeta, though, he really did - does - love me." It was kind of awkward though because I didn't feel the same way about him, I don't think, and even if I did, it wasn't as if we'd get married and have kids in the future, otherwise our kids would just go into the reaping, and maybe even go into the arena. But, as I looked at Peeta and Bex now, I couldn't help but narrow my eyes at Bex slightly. I just didn't trust her around Peeta, even if Peeta said that there was nothing going on between them.
((I think I'm failing as Katniss now. Correct me if I'm playing her wrong, Gavin!))

"Riiight... Thanks." I rolled my eyes and then slapped Peeta in the face with the sock. "There you go, one sweaty, smelly sock in the face!" I laughed before running over to the watery place that used to be our camp and was now a part of the lake, washing the sweat out off his sock. You see? I was so nice! I washed other people's clothes when they were too lazy to do it themselves!

"Well then, we'll just have to make more then one boat! Then everyone can go home!" Honey grinned, trying to makesure everyone got the chance to go home even if it meant that they had to make more than one boat and do more hard work.

I think your going a good job, but I feel I'm slowly becoming worse and worse as Peeta.

She saw it in Katniss. She saw the truth, even when Katniss couldn't admit it to herself. "Oh, I thought he was faking too. When I saw those two holding hands earlier-" She knew Katniss would reach. She knew she didn't need to say anymore. With those words it had began, the subtle destruction of the group, starting with the main players.

"Come on! Keep up!" I had to tell Penny. Though I understood she had been walking a lot, she still didn't need to be so slow. Penny had helped me track down two lemurs at this point and we both where still and at one with everything. They were up the try, I think gorging on some fruit high up there. They looked to peaceful, so beautiful. How could I shoot them. But I had to. I pointed up into the trees and hit one of them through the head. The other swung far away, squealing with in pain at the lose of it's friend. It was sad. So sad. Penny congratulated me but it was bitter sweat.

"I am! Don't see why I have to carry the lemur."

"I've got the bow!" That wasn't the real reason of course, and I think she knew the real reason, just she wanted to test me. Maybe she would of found it funny me squirming as she passes the lemur to me. Wouldn't be surprised. I agreed to kill at least two more creatures, which was something I wasn't looking forward to.

Holding hands? What was Peeta trying to do? First he said he loved me and now he's holding hands with Bex? I know I hadn't seen it so I had no evidence, but Prim said that she saw it and Prim wouldn't lie to me. In fact, if there was anyone I trusted it was her. Prim was telling the truth, she had seen Peeta and Bex holding hands which meant that Peeta was treating me like a fool. "I'll be right back." I told my sister, glaring at Peeta as I stood up and hobbled over to the guy in question. "What game are you playing, Peeta?" I asked him, seething with anger but trying to keep my voice down so that I didn't attract attention. especially Bex's. "The other day you said you loved me and even tried to kiss me, and now Prim caught you holding Bex's hand! What do you think you'll achieve by messing around with two girls?"

*Gasps.* How could she be that though? I mean, I kinda saw it coming because of how awesome she is, but she's a dalek for crying out loud!

I know! Maybe it's going to go through the back-story of how she came there But that's going to be sad

"What?" I laughed a little, as I wasn't expecting this, but I saw it in her eyes she was being serious. I look over at Prim who looks confused. I look back to Katniss. "I never held Bex's hand. You know how I feel - how I feel about you. And how you feel about me too. Prim must of saw things wrong because I never held Bex's hand." I didn't want this to start up again. I had almost lost Katniss the first time when she took a situation the wrong way round. I go over to grab her hand.

I instinctely pulled my hand away from Peeta's. He was doing it again. Treating me like a fool who'd believe him over my own sister. Well he was wrong, I completely believed Prim. "Don't treat me like an idiot. Prim wouldn't lie to me Peeta, and she has perfect eyesight so she couldn't have seen things wrong. I know how you 'feel' about me, but I know there's something going on between you and Bex and I don't want to be a part of this stupid little game of yours! And I don't know what you mean about how I feel about you because I feel nothing!"
((A) That was harsh, Katniss and B) It sounded kind of defensive in my head XD She doth protest too much, me thinks X3 But tell me if I've messed up Katniss in this post, I want to play her right.))

It reminds me of the pushing over Peeta in the first book, so I think your playing it right

Three lemurs. Each on had it's own story. One had came to the ground and was only a few feet away from me when I had shot it. The other was a part of a bigger group of people and was fairly young. We had enough for a day or two. One Lemur would be enough for Penny and the rest could go the others. As for me, I might risk going down o the lake to see if there is ant plants I can salvage.

"Why are you being like this?!" Of course she would believe Prim over me but this was ridiculous. I would never think of Bex ion that way. I had fallen out of a tree and got stung by tracker jackers over and over. I had climbed a tree but she still felt this way. "Let's go over to Bex. She'll tell you the truth."

Ok then. Bye! And I'm gonna reply tomorrow and spend the rest of the night debating whether or not Katniss would actually agree to go over to me to get the 'truth'.
