Re: Fiction Island Roleplay
There was no genetic make-up to the being. He should have never been able to leave the prison of Michael’s mind. Now he had almost won. Now all he needed to do was wish upon fate and hope the blood would pour- pour from where Katniss had shot. He dreamt of it from the moment the plan had formed so effortlessly in his mind. Fear was clever - Too clever for children. He knew they would fall so easily. They all do. In his world, he had won. All he planned now to do was to sit back and watch his directing efforts.
Though there was something that could interfere with his perfection. The could sense a wonderer. Someone powerful. With a fixed fate. The shadows left the camp-site in the early morning and moved to where the disturbance was coming from. It was a girl, similar to Katniss, though once he had delved into her sub-concious and read all the could be read, he could see they were people from different places entirely. Once he left her mind, he slipped unnoticed back into the shadows further on in the forest, where she emerged - the Prim equivalent - Lucy.
She began wondering through the woods, looking up to the birds in the trees, then straight out in front of her at her sister. "Susan," For a moment she acted bewildered, then exploded into life. "Oh Susan, it's you!" She rapped her arms around her sister. "I knew I would find you."
Sorry Susan

XDD susan too awesome :3
Susan: As she began to continue her search of her siblings and other people, she was obviously tired, but she delt with it. Hearing a bird she looked up and knew she wouldnt be able to get it. Darting away from the bird, she had heard something else, readying her bow, she turned sharply and seen it was her sister "lucy?" then thats when Susan lowered her bow and hugged her sister back "Lucy! I knew you had to be somewhere here. Have you found Peter and Edmond?" susan doubt it since they werent with Lucy.

She shook her head. "I haven't seen anyone." She begins looking around. "Where in Narnia are we? I was thinking it was Owlwood but then again, I think we might be somewhere in Archenland. What do you think Susan? Oh, and I saw a lemur, you know, from Madagascar, back home."
Re: Fiction Island Roleplay
Susan: Nodding, it turned into her shaking her head "We are not in Narnia. None of the animals talk. That would be a obvious sign lucy." she looked around "A lemur, really? All I have seen was rabbits, birds, squirrels and a few other small land animals." Susan kissed Lucys head softly "I was looking for a good spot to hide in, only places I found were small branches that hold one."

Re: Fiction Island Roleplay
"I've been sleeping by a river. The berries here are nice. I've been living off the them for a while, and some of the other fruit." She looks around and the forest around her. "Do you think Peter and Edmond have found each other like we have? I hope they have." She needed to remember that animals talked in the world they had come from. She would usually know these things, though it's hard to keep track of all the memories of people. She needed to focus too on the task at hand - turn Susan away from the camp.
Re: Fiction Island Roleplay
Susan: "thats good that you have been finding more food then I have." she laughed alittle and nodded "They should have found one another." she ywaned "Sorry. Anyway, should you take me back to your river 'home'? Maybe we can find food on the way there?"

She was not expecting this! She was so slow today. Fear is only slow when it decides to be patient and wit-full. She would just have to remember the root or just lead her somewhere then ditch Susan. She more focused on the camp at this time, and the drama that could be already unfolding. "Okay, but make sure you can keep up with me slow-poke." She laughs. She skips on ahead, calculating under her smile.
Re: Fiction Island Roleplay
Susan: Susan followed with a small laugh "Dont worry. Im not that slow, unlike Edmond." she put her bow and arrow away for now, and jogged after Lucy. "Dont skip so fast lucy. This armor does weigh me down a bit!"

Re: Fiction Island Roleplay
She wasn't going to slow down that much, not anymore. She needed to be on the ball. She had never been so concious with thinking before. With Prim it was much easier - nobody suspected, but with this situation, Susan was making to many awkward moves. "Fine, fine." She slows now a bit so her sister can catch up. She decided to ask something that might lead away from more unanswerable questions. "I think I've lost my knife and my medicine flask. Don't know how though. You've still got your bow."
Re: Fiction Island Roleplay
Susan: she was glad that Lucy had slowed down "Well my stuff was next to me when I woke up." when Lucy mentioned about her knife and med flask, Susan spoke "Well how about we look for them then? im sure they are around here somewhere. go look over there and ill look over here, dont wonder too far. I dont want to lose you again."

Re: Fiction Island Roleplay
"I won't." She lied. She believed she was be far enough away now. Though she was only a little bit away from where the camp was, she made sure she looked around for her things in a different area, away from the camp. Though it would of been good to toy with this person's emotions, she was already playing with a group of people, and wanted to what the consequences. If she slip out of view, she would be safe and transform without a fuss.

Re: Fiction Island Roleplay
The night wasn’t the worst night I had spent on this island, yet it was up with the best of them. I would wake abruptly while in a dream and find myself itching with fear of insects crawling over me in the night, though I had a gut feeling that I wasn’t being touched by mere bugs. I noticed too that Penny must off given me her blanket in the night too, which was kind of her.
When I wake however, she is not with us in the shelter – she is just past the vines warming her hands in front of the fire she made. I wondered whether there were any of those chocolate bars left – I was building a craving for them now, as I had never tasted chocolate like this before. Also it was a good morning boost; I had had no boost yet with coming to terms with losing my legs.
I sat up and realised that in the night something had fell out of the girl’s pocket – it was fairly shiny, which was the reason it grabbed my attention. It was some form of compass or large pocket watch and had enticing markings on its golden cover. I liked my lips with curiosity. I had never seen an artefact so beautiful. I look up to the girl and to her mutt in the corner. They were still fast asleep. Would it be worth the risk? They would kill me if they saw me with it. But what is it? I had to find out.
I slowly shuffled towards the device, my arms helping in my effort. I was careful as to not make a sound, as I gradually reached my fingers out, which rapped around the instrument and then scuffled back to my resting place. It was in my hands now, golden and quick heavy. I opened it to reveal what lay within.
It was broken – the glass was cracked of its face, making it slightly difficult to see what lay underneath. But I could see pictures around the edge of it; all strange pictures like of a baby and of a lightning bolt and also what looked to be a cornucopia. There were four needles, but to what purpose they held, I had no clue. I could be some sort of primitive communication device, though I don’t think that that is the care. Whatever it is, it’s precious and valuable.
I began to wake up – the smell of the smoke outside was tickling my nose. I stretched out and opened my eyes to see Cori at the other end scurrying for some reason. Maybe I had startled him – he must be afraid then. Pan wakes too and returns to me as a tabby cat, his tale stroking my side. But my attention is on Cori, as he still seems to be fidgeting. All of a sudden I go to feel my pocket - The compass! Pan and I look to Cori with intent, Pan beginning to hiss. From under his side he reveals the compass, and holds it close to the wall of the shelter, which is made of stone. With his other hand he takes his index finger and presses it to his lips. Anger builds inside me, though I keep my voice to a whisper. “If you-”
“I have no use for whatever this is, no matter how pretty it may be. I can break it. And I will destroy it... but only of you don’t follow what I’m about to say.” I had the higher ground again – the place where I truly belonged. No way was I going to let the Capitol control me, and I doubt that it is even true. I don’t care that she somehow knows who I am and what I plan to do, she’s not going to stop me from preforming justice on the people who crippled me. “Do you understand little girl?”
Who is he calling little girl? Just because I’m younger than him doesn’t make me little. I could hurt him. I know Pan could, and I know he wanted to now, but he also knows I wouldn’t risk the sake of the compass. It had been close before to breaking point, so I wasn’t going to let that happen again, even if it did mean listening to him. I wait a few moments before I nod.
“Good. Now I’ve got your attention, tell me the truth – are you from the Capitol?”
“...no.”
I laugh a little, but not enough for Penny to hear. “Exactly what I thought... Where are you from then? America?”
America? It would be clear if I came from America – I would have an American ascent, like Lee Scoresby, though actually his ascent was mostly Texan. – There are loads of ascents from America. “I’m from England.” I sort of realised too that he must be from a different world, maybe where things are not the same as they in my world.
“Where?” Now she must be making stuff up - Never heard of such a place... though that could have been a place back before the war. But how was I to know. And was it important to know where she came from? “Never mind, just tell me-”
“No, you listen to me. You’ll give me back my compass or I’ll-”
“You’ll what, kill me? Well, be my guess. But I don’t think you’re going to risk this little thing here now, are you.” I could see it now in her eyes. She was scared – scared I was going to break it. Oh, it felt good to have power again. “Now, you’re going to do something for me. I’ll let you have this back, but only if you swear not to come back. You go off, far away from where we are and never come back.”
“It’s not like you would have the power to stop me though, is it? If I did come back.” I was a stupid thing to say really. I could easy break it now if he was angry at me trying to lower his power. I had to bring it back to my father.
I narrowed my eyes at her. Though it was not wise to say it, she was true. How could I stop her if she where to come back? I think for a while then answer. “If you do come back, Penny will kill you. I will convince her that your evil and want to kill. I may not be able to kill you, but she could.”
It was ridiculous. She wouldn’t kill me, no matter what he said to her. He was just making things up now... though the compass had said that Penny would be manipulated to kill me. Maybe the compass was true, if I was to go back, I would be killed by her. I hated to give in, especially to him, but I had no other choice. The compass was the only thing that mattered to me and how I had to give it back to my father. Again I think it over and again I nod. He smiles.
“Very good. You’ll leave after lunch. You say you’re going to the toilet or something but don’t return. I’ll give you the compass just before then. You’re a very wise little girl. I don’t know how you know about me but your very smart. Don’t do anything else stupid, okay.”
Sorry, another long one. I can't help myself.

Re: Fiction Island Roleplay
Penny: I had woken up since I needed the toilet, Cori had been shivering so I had given my blanket to him. Once I had gone to the toilet, I returned to our den, but I just re-lit the fire since it had gone out and sat there thinking. Trying to figure out how I got here. Again. It must have been the plane. What other explanation could there be? There was a crashed plane on an island in the middle of nowhere. It had to have crashed! Unless this was some sick reality TV show about being able to survive on an island with people you don't know. That was possible. They could have put a drug in my food to make me sleep, and just made me wake up here... But what about the blood? I had woken up with a cut. My thoughts were disrupted with movement from within the den. I looked in to see Cori and Lyra, and Pan, all awake. "What's going on?" I asked them.

Re: Fiction Island Roleplay
I turn to see Penny coming into the den. I think she was suspecting something, but the best way of covering that up was to act like normal, so I smiled up at her, hiding the compass behind my back out of her view. “Oh, I was just having a chat with... Lyra-” finally remembering her name “-About her home. She says she’s from England.” Sort of a good cover-up, I just hoped Lyra went along with it, for her sake, not just mine.
The tables had most defiantly turned from the night before. He knew what to do – he had watched me lie and now he was just repeating what I had done, but his intentions where more evil than mine. He planned death and revenge, which is never a good thing. I don’t know how he would be able to manipulate Penny to kill me, but I didn’t want to find out. I wanted to go home. I played along too, smiling up at Penny. “What’s for breakfast?”
