Sorry, my Ipod died on me last night And I'm about to write a very long, sad reply for Cori now so head-up!

Dare I say it, Penny was right. If Peeta was innocent - which I highly doubted, but if he was, I would have killed an innocent person, an innocent person who really does love me. Could I live with the guilt of killing someone who did nothing wrong? I contemplated that until I saw Penny gathering up logs, then putting Prim's lifelsss body on top. My eyes widened as I recognised what she was doing, and I tried sitting up, tryig to use my legs to turn myself over, trying to get up. Even when I knew it was no use, I didn't give up, I just started to yell as well. They were getting rid of the evidence of Prim's murder! How would they be able to prove Peeta was the killer without evidence? That was their plan, try to cover up the fact that Peeta did it! And now they were going to set Prim on fire to get rid of all proof that he killed her. Well I would let then, I wasn't going down without a fight.
A couple hours later I had pretty much lost my voice thanks to the screaming and yelling and I had used up all my energy desperately trying to get up but being unable to. I felt completely drained, barely able to move because I was so tried from everything, my eyes, though I tried to keep them open, were losing a battle and drifting shut. Without even realising it, I eventually fell asleep where I lay. In my sleep-deprived state, the growls and rustle of the bushes nearby acted like a lullaby, sending me to sleep.
((Peeta should save Katniss from being attacked by mutts! It would confuse her more! XD))

I remained pretty much silent as I ate the insodes of the coconut - I didn't like coconut milk so I had just poured that out -, still a little annoyed at Gavin for going into the jungle alone. I mean, I know I should just be happy that he's back and alive and un-injured, but what kind of an idiot goes into the jungle with at least a weapon to protect them?! "Next time you go into the jungle, bring me, Jasmine or Ezio, preferably me or Ezio -" Because Jasmine still didn't have her glasses and could hardly see. "And make sure you have a weapon on hand too, ok?" I went silent again then, just continuing eating the coconut. I wish my iPod was working right now, at least then I'd have some music to break the silence. The only way we'd get music now was if I started singing, and I wouldn't do that in front of Ezio and Jasmine because I was a wimp when it came to singing in front of people I barely knew.

The best way to make sure that you know you’re about to do something right is to do something wrong first.

Over time you learn minuet thing about everything and it is only natural you make up your own judgement on what you've learnt and seen. I had questioned them for a while before but it’s was only when I had stopped watching my 5th Hunger Games did I think to myself I wanted to put a stop to the years of cruelty and malice inflicted onto the districts. You can always see the pain in the tribute’s eyes, yet you can see evil in others too – evil helped fuelled by the Capitol. Though I was born one of them, I knew I had to be more than they were, whether it was in power or in morality.

I kneel down by the bank of the lake. I see a small tunnel of smoke rising into the air but I don’t intend to see who has built it. I know it must be the others – Katniss, Peeta, Marina – I’m sure they would enjoy giving me a long dead, as they already tried to. From the shine of the lake I see my reflection and look at the matted hair that was no longer puffy and white, but thick and dark blonde. My face is as dirty as ever apart from the lines formed from my river of tears that almost always occur. I don’t recognise the boy whose intentions were just and noble – who stood up for freedom instead of standing up for one’s self greed.

In some ways this place has changed me for the better. It threw me into pain and taught me how to deal with it better. I could barely feel the blisters that emanate around my stumped legs. I had grown to care more in some ways to individuals. I had cared for Penny. She took me in and saved my life. She saw the pain I was in and acted to help. I should have paid her back instead of dreaming about death. Other the few days I had learnt to live with the idea of not having legs ever again – not walking. Now she resents me because of the lies I’ve told and the twisting I’ve done under her nose. How I had blackmailed a twelve year old girl. How low have I gone?

The only problem I wish to be fixed though is the one at home. Who will be there to rise against the weight of the Capitol and bring them toppling down? Coin? No, she is too young still, though will be a great leader one day to come. Roma? She was smart and knows first-hand single-combat. She is a mighty warrior but no front-runner. Thicket? Maybe, but that’s if he gets his head out of the clouds. I was the one who brought us together. I know I could have leaden the way, but now… no, I know I can’t. I’m too weak. I hope the problem will be fixed, as I fix another.

My hands shake furiously as I take the first steps towards ending my life. Every morsel of being wants to live on inside of me, yet I still have the ultimate say. My bandaged stumps gently creep into the water, stinging the raw flesh behind the fabric. I grit my teeth and look up into the orange sky. I whisper one last prayer into the air just before the final push. Once I let my arms slide me off, my life would have been completely, or in some cases pointless. I will be a memory – a cruel reminded of the people who let their selves fall in this world. I close my eyes tight before lifting off, ready to become submerged for all eternity.

I would have stopped them fighting, but my thoughts were still elsewhere. The sun was getting lower and lower down now and I knew Penny would be giving the word any time soon. I look to Katniss, knowing she is still asleep. She should be at least awake for this. It is her sister. I had been trying to block the abuse Katniss had been yelling all day and trying to remind myself that she’s ill and that she doesn’t mean it. Unfortunately I don’t have a filter and all her words go to heart.

“Okay,” I stand, once finished eating the lemur. “It’s almost time – I’ll grab some of the fire from here-” Pointing at the fire. “-while Peeta, you can wake Katniss. Just don’t go to close to her. She still has the knife somewhere. Mary, you can just stand there by Prim.” She was looking at me coldly but she did as told. I turn to Peeta who takes the bow away from my side. “Peeta, what are you doing?” For a moment I was thinking he was actually going to kill Katniss with it but I see that he’s only using it as a precaution.

I slowly walk over, sensing the night drawing in. I had been hearing rustling in the trees for the most part of the evening. I walked over to where Katniss was lying. She looked like herself in her sleep. She wasn’t crazy or murderous. I kneel down close to Katniss and whisper her name. “Katniss. Katniss, wake up. It’s time.” As I say this, I feel a cold run down my spine for some reason. Katniss doesn’t snore, well, at least not as loudly as I can hear.

I stop with the coconut and throw it into the jungle. I hate the taste. Yucky stuff. "Yes yes yes," I say to Bex. "I know, I get it now. No more going into the jungle." I didn't know I had walked off so far though. I know she was think of me in mind and that I could have been killed out there. Next time I'll think differently.
