I was a little freaked out by the claws, but I was angry at Alex now and sometimes my anger won against my fear. "By getting good grades, I would be improving my grades, idiot! But I would never use powers for evil! I'm not that kind of girl! I might accidentally use powers in a bad way, but for the right reasons, but I wouldn't purposely do anything bad! Now let go of me!" I tried prying his claws off of my hands but it wouldn't work!

(In the game you can not in fact put a person down. Alex insists on turning them into a human rocket and throwing them over a mile.)

"Well..." I reached for Peeta hand as I explained what had happened again, although I would've thought Marina knew, unless she didn't live in Panem. "Peeta was trying to warn me to run when a guy, Cato, was coming to kill me, but as a result, he got cut in the leg because of it. I managed to heal it, but after Cato's death about a week later, it had started bleeding badly again I tried to stop the bleeding by tying a tourniquet, made out of the sleeve of my shirt and an arrow, around his leg but I tied it too tight, causing his leg to have to be removed. And, even after that, he still loves me." I gave a small smile, acting for any cameras nearby, wondering why sponsors hadn't given gifts to 'The star crossed lovers of District 12'.

((So, basically, I'm going to be flying across the jungle in a minute, Mort? Just making sure so that I don't mess it up Very Happy

I nodded my head in agreement and brushed the back of Peeta hand with the back of my thumb. "The main thing is that we're both alive and together though." I replied, thinking that this would be a good time to add a kiss to the act, and I titled my head so that my lips briefly met Peeta's. I was sure Haymitch and the sponsors would be proud of that, but when I pulled away, no silver parachute containing a gift fell from the sky. My lips pressed into a thin line as I tried to hide my frustration. It just added to my worry that we really were stranded and that we weren't going to get off of this island at all.

((Maybe we should continue this tomorrow so that Marina could join the conversation again Smile

And yes, you would be flying across the jungle but I've decided to give Alex just a little bit more control over his actions then he has in the video game XD So he just put Bex on the ground. Lightly.

Possibly. It's somewhere around there. I'm skimming the book though and I've gone past the medicine part and there's still no turniquet thingy. I think it's somewhere near the end actually, because I know Katniss uses the arrow she stuck in the turniquet to kill Cato...
