Susan: "Oh, I am terribly sorry.." If I knew his family was dead I wouldnt have brought it up. I feel so stupid now! Once he continued on I nodded "An assassin." So he was not like the ones that would just kill people and thats it. Unless I was too oblivious to even see how assassins really were.. "Well, Its nice to meet someone like yourself."

Which is a good thing so that means we wont get off on the wrong foot as much as people do that have different beliefs. So we'll be good partners." looking at the sun, we had plenty of time left on where it was "Should we start looking around before dark?"

Last night as Peeta and Marina slept, I checked the trees for any silver parachutes that got stuck. None. No parachutes for the romance act between Peeta and me. To make matters worse - or possibly better - there were no announcements of deaths last night. Usually, even if there were no deaths, the Capitol's anthem, along with the seal, would show up in the sky. Not even that had happened last night. I chewed the inside of my lip as I thought about it and then decided that this wasn't some form of the Hunger Games, we were just stranded because the Capitol wanted us not to cause any more trouble, like in the arena when we threatened to eat the nightlock. Dawn broke just as I came to this conclusion and I jumped down from the tree. Kneeling down at Peeta's side, I shook his shoulder to wake him up and tell him about my suspicions. "Peeta. Peeta wake up."

I open my eyes and look up at her. "Katniss. You alright?" insay and sit up and rub my neck alittle. It hurt like it normally would when I sleep on the ground. Today I'll look for something me and Katniss could sleep on that wouldn't Hurt our neck or backs.

"Yeah, I'm fine, I was just thinking about something." I answered, adjusting my position and sit on the ground, hugging my knees to my chest. "I really don't think this is another Hunger Games. There were no silver parachutes in the trees last night, no canons signally deaths, not even the Capitol seal in the sky or the anthem. I'm not ruling out that the Capitol's behind this but... What if this is just their way of getting rid of us after the incident with the nightlock in the arena?" It sounded too kind for the Capitol, who sent children into a televised fight to the death each year, who cut off people's tongues and made them slaves - Avoxes - but it was the conclusion that made the most sense right now.

I sit up and move next to her. "Maybe. But we won't know untill we look around and all. We should just stop worrying about it and start to boyle shelter so just in case something goes wrong we will have what we need."

I wouldn't normally get up this early in the morning. Even though there voices were low, I could still here them. I didn't know what they were saying though, I think I was still in and out of sleep. Once I'm away though, I stay down to here what they are saying. It sounds intense - They seem intense people, probably with that whole surviving thing.

I knew I wouldn't be able to stop worrying about it, but I could push it to the back of my mind and focus on other things, more important things like, as Peeta said, a shelter. "Yeah, good idea, but lets focus on breakfast." I looked at the dwindling fire and then grabbed a couple of nearby branches, trying to get it burning better so that we could cook some of that strange cat-creature I had hunted down yesterday. Once the fire was burning and I had started to cook the cat-creature, I looked to Marina, who was still asleep. "Maybe you shouold wake her up. If she misses breakfast, she'll struggle to do much today, and we could use another pair of hands to build a shelter."

"Why must I do it. She creeps me out. She has fins...." I say alittle creeped out alittle. It was weird to she someone with fins.

WHAT! Unfortunetly this WHAT was not contained inside my head. "WHAT!" I get up and face him, fury in my face. "What so wrong with my fins?! They may be small but they're not in anyway FREAKY!" I hated my brother's for calling me names (all 37 of them) saying my skin wasn't blue enough or my fins were small or my shouldn't be black. I hated them all! I made sure I broke there fingers in there sleep for calling me names. After I did that they wouldn't bother me for the next for mouths.

"What?" I had to try and hold back a laugh at that. "You're dellusional, Peeta. No one has fins. Did you bang your head yesterday or something?" It didn't seem as if he had a head injury, but it could be hidden underneath his sandy blonde hair, or maybe he just didn't drink enough yesterday and was seeing things... Wait what?! Marina wasn't denying the fact that she had fins, so it could be true? She was a mutt? Instantly I loaded the bow and aimed it at Marina, just in case she tried to attack us.

I looks at the girl and glare. "YOU HAVE FINS! IT'S NOT HUMAN!" I say and stand up and glare at the girl. Of course I was going to say she was creepy. She has fucking fins. Who wouldn't be creeped out.

"Peeta, calm down." I warned him, knowing that, if this girl was a mutt, yelling at her would only make things worse. "So, did President Snow send you here to kill us or something, Marina?" I asked with a slight glare. This sounded more like something Snow would do, send in a muttation to slowly kill those who oppose the Captiol or make them look like fools like we did.

Cat-Fist aimed her arrow at me. Though I was good at combat, I couldn't dodge an arrow. If she's anything like my friend, she wouldn't miss for anything. "It's not weird! I'm a mermaid, now please, put down your bow. I'm not going to hurt anyone." They must of came from Billy's world, over wise they wouldn't of reacted so strange. "I don't like people talking about my fins, or anyone talking behind my back, especially people who don't know me."
