"Sure." I grabbed the stretchy plant from my pocket once more and moved to sit behind Marina, letting my guard down for a couple minutes. I started doing Marina's hair in the same kind of plait as mine, humming 'Deep in the meadow' quietly to myself, just because this moment, after the chaos of the jungle cat's attack, reminded me of the laid back alliance I had with Rue until she was attacked by that guy from District 1, Marvel, and died right in front of me.

I roll my eyes and just keep building. I already got the stupid talk with Katniss. I don't need it with this girl. When she asked to be my ally I sigh. Another girl. No guy. Which mean girl talk. Great. "Fine whatever. Just don't get in our way."

To the person who made that song, feel very ashamed, because it's so cheesy.

I liked watching the river go by as Katniss hummed a tune from behind me. Is was a nice soft tune, something I could easily fall to sleep to. I almost did to. Then though it wasn't particularly singing, just the way she hummed was heavenly. I think then was the first proper time I had forgotten about my friends and I was okay with being on the island, even though I would still like to go home to my friends. "How are we going to get off this place Katniss?"

And don't worry Very Happy

I'm so failing at Lyra right now. Think I might made a new character in a bit too Very Happy

"While mine is out, and his name is Pan." I said, slightly more bravely. I stand up and brush the dirt of my legs. I pick up the broken compass and put it back inside me jacket. I couldn't think about the compass, all it brought was sadness. It was as if i was suddenly alone, and useless to. I was nobody.

Wow, he really was grumpy, I frowned a little at that, because a grumpy Peeta could only mean trouble. "Ok..." Since he didn't want me to get in the way, I just sat down where I was and watched him build something - a shelter maybe, since whatever it was had a flat base? "Why are you arguing with Katniss anyway, aren't you supposed to love her?" I leaned back on my hands and raised an eyebrow at Peeta - well, I would have if I could raise only one, but I couldn't really do that cool raise-one-eyebrow thing, so I jist ended up raising both eyebrows.

"I don't know." I answered as I got near the end of the braid which started from Marina's left ear and then followed the nape of her neck so it fell over her rigt shoulder ((I watched a tutorial XD)), tying the end with the stretchy plant. "We could try to make a boat, I guess, but I don't know how far away civillisation is, and we wouldn't even know which way to sail anyway." I could here Honey starting to wake up, so I rushed over to him, just as he was going to try and get up in a way that would make him start bleeding again. "Just sit down for a moment while I figure out how to move you, ok?" He nodded weakly. But he looked kind of thirsty. "Hey Marina, can you try and crack open one of the coconuts? Be careful not to drop it once it's cracked though, it's got milk inside it and Honey needs to drink that." I thought coconut milk would be a lot safer to drink than unpurified water.

Honey felt disorientated and confused, and was in a lot of pain too. The last thing he remebered was the jungle cat attacking him before he had a chance to use his martial arts against it, and then the jungle cat collapsed to the ground with an aroow in it's heart. Then everything went dark and now he was here, by a river. He smiled weakly at Katniss and Marina as he held on to Usa-chan's hand. "Thanks for helping me out."

I smile make at Honey, grabbing on of the coconuts at the same time. "I'm glad your not dead. That was close one." I use one of the large rocks by the river to try and crack the coconut. When I had finally broke it in half, I spilt a little of the milk, but not all of it and handed one half of the coconut to Katniss who eased Honey up so he could drink the milk. While Katniss looked Honey over, I looked at the shimmery refection of me in the river. It would be clearer at the lake, but i could see how beautiful Katniss had made the plait. It was amazing!

"You can't get rid of me that easily!" Honey laughed before drinking some of the coconut milk. He looked over to Marina and then looked at Katniss and then realised they had the same hairstyle now. "I like what you did with your hair, Marina, and Usa-chan likes it too!" Honey complimented Marina before looking to Katniss. "Is it ok to get up now?" He asked.

I nodded my head but placed a hand one Honey's back, the other resting on his shoulder. "Yeah, just try to stand up with a straight back, ok? Too much movement will make the wounds bleed again." I helped Honey stand up once his was finished with the coconut milk and the looked to Marina. "You might need to help him back to the lake." We also needed to pick up my arrow on the way back, because I had left it in the jungle cat.

"It all happened because of the 12 year old girl. And I know what I saw. The stupid fins. She even said she had fins." I shake my head and start to make walls now. Once I finished it and all it should look like a shake once I finsh.

As we get ready to leave, I stay by Honey's side in case he were to fall over. Katniss leads the way again, this time turning back to us ever now and then to see if Honey is okay and just a general concern whether we were both okay. I help carry a few of the few of the coconuts back with us, but my attention is mainly on Honey.

"So you're just going to let a little 12 year old girl break you two up?! Are you crazy?!" I facepalmed and ran my hand through my hair frustratedly. "You've loved her since you were a little kid, right? You finally got the chance to be near her and show her you loved her during the Hunger Games - even though she was oblivious to the truth behind the 'fake' romance - right? So now you're going to let all that go because of a girl with fins?!" I was having a cross between a fangirl meltdown and a moment of lecturing, but I hoped it was working. "Think, Peeta, think! Don't let something so little get in between something so special!"

Honey leaned on Marina a little as he walked, wincing every now and then from the pain in his stomach. Still, he smiled whenever Katniss turned back to check on them, knowing that she had saved his life and he was grateful for that.

I kept looking back at Honey and Marina, just in case they were struggling, but all seemed fine and we managed to make it back to the jungle cat. I pulled the arrow out of it's heart and loaded it into my bow once more. If I had a knife, I would've skinned the cat so we could use it as a warm blanket, but I had given the knife back to Peeta, so I had nothing to skin the animal with, so we had to just keep moving. "We've got a long walk ahead of us, so try to keep up." I looked back to Marina and added. "If you get tired of helping Honey, let me know and I'll take over." I then headed onwards, in the direction of the lake.

I look at her with a small glare. "She left and I had a shelter to build. I rather build a shelter right now." I say to her then get up and grab my knife and cut some veins for the woods.

As we passed the body of the wild cat, flies were around beginning to surround it, along with other insects. I was okay with Honey leaning on me - I didn't mind too might. I knew he was feeling pain so didn't mind holding out for him. His pain was a hundred times worse than mine. We had to leave the flowers too, which was a shame, but there were plenty of flowers everywhere - I'm sure I could could collect some tomorrow. I heard Honey wince a little, as he held tighter to his bunny. I looked ahead to see though the trees a small gleams of the reflections that came off the lake. "Hold on Honey, we're almost there now."

"So now a shelter is more important than Katniss?" I rolled my eyes a little and looked down at the ground, mumbling, "Keep this up and she'll be falling for Gale instead or you." Although probably not, since the characters had to stick to the book... Right? I mean, it's not as if their actions in the real world could affect what happens at the end of the books, right? Uh oh, what if they did?! Ok, I had to get Katniss and Peeta together again, even if they faked it, I needed to stop them from arguing before they ruined the happy ending!

"Good, I think I might need to lie down." When the trees made way for the lake, Honey let go of Marina and sat down against a tree. He breathed a sigh of relief when the pain died down due to him not moving and then he just hugged Usa-chan, watching all the others. Katniss didn't look very happy.

When we made it back to the lake, the first thing I saw was Peeta talking to another girl, roughly around our age. For some reason it made me mad, probably because he had been so rude to Marina and pushed her away, when he was clearly letting this girl stay. "So you're nice to her but not to Marina?" I asked with a slight glare, crossing my arms over my chest.

"Yes. Cause I don't wanna die." I then hear Katniss an I let out a growl. I turn to her and the kids and roll my eyes and stand up. "It's not my fault she more normal. Even if she's acting like a crazy fan."

I could see tensions already beginning to to build again between Peeta and Katnis, over me again too and my freakishness. I stayed with Honey by the tree, trying not take any notice of what was going on, but then I saw a girl over the other end with Peeta. I realsed this was what they were fighting about as well. The girl was much older than me, but no that much taller (have to be true Smile

) Then though an agrument was maybe about to build, the girl looked in awe of Katniss, like she had just see the most amazingest bowl of chocolate ice cream in the world.

"You're not going to die, Peeta, I wont let you." That would've sounded romantic and possily gift-worthy if it wasn't for the fact that I was mad at Peeta. "In fact, I think you'd be more likely to be harmed by your 'fan girl' than you would be by Marina and her friend. Now will stop growling like a dog and show be nice? What's wrong with you today?" I rolled my eyes and then walked over to Marina. "Just ignore him, ok? He just had a bad night of sleep last night, I think." I then looked over to Honey and saw that he was fine, so I walked over to pile of bananas that was by the new girl, being cautious around her because she was staring at me right now, and grabbed one, handing it to Honey.

"Yay! Banana! Thank you Katniss!" Honey grinned and peeled the banana, breaking of a piece for Usa-chan to eat and then eating the rest himself.

It was Katniss! The real Katniss! Oh my friends were going to be so jealous because I was meeting the Girl on Fire when they were just at home reading the books! Ha! But Peeta and Katniss were fighting again, and I stared at Katniss, waiting for her to resolve things, but she didn't, she was being stubborn. With a sigh, I stood up and walked over to Peeta, starting to try and push him over to Katniss. "Go and apologise, bread-boy! It's your fault this arguement started!"
((Actually Marina's probably taller than me XD And you're right, I'm in awe of Katniss, well, until they start arguing, then I'm trying to fix things because, seriously, it would be a tragedy for Peeta and Katniss not to be in love, faked or otherwise! DX))

"Would you stop pushing. It's not my fault. It's that fish girls fault." I say and jerk away from Bex and walk back togue shelter. I wasn't going to say sorry because I was right. The fish girl was weird. And it's not my fault she ran off. I wasn't the last person to talk to the girl. Katniss was.

I hated having two sided, there was me, Katniss and Honey, and then there was Peeta and the new girl. It was a if someone had drawn a line in the sand and said don't cross. It was hard to even breath. I had to cool down, so I left Katniss and Honey by the tree while I sat by the water's edge, thinking of diving in and being me again. After a while of teasing, I slowing went so not to make a fuss, then though I could tell people were watching. I sunk my head under the water and my legs moulded together and my tale was back, along with my blue skin. I sank to the bottom of the lake, just for a while.

Grrrr! He was just being a pain in the *ss now! Gripping the knife in my hand, I walked over to Peeta and pointed it at him, but not in a way that meant that I was going to kill him, just like normal pointing. But with a knife. "I is your fault, you idiot! She can't help the way she is and you're being mean to her because of something she can't control! What if I were to start making fun of you and that fake leg, huh? Or the fact that you're the son of a baker? You'd think I was being mean and would be upset, wouldn't you? Well that's how you're making that little girl feel, and now you're jeopardising what little romance you and Katniss have because of it!"

I smiled a little as Honey ate his banana happily, but then I noticed Marina heading for the water and sighed. She must feel really bad about the fighting, since Peeta and I were acting out our fake romance the night before her fins were mentioned. I could see now in the clear water of the lake how her skin turned blue and her legs turned into fins, but I still didn't think she would harm us. I just didn't know what was wrong with Peeta today. Heaving another sigh, I pulled out a leg of the cat-creature I had cooked this morning from Peeta's backpack and started eating it, every now and then looking over to Peeta and trying to figure out what was going on in his head today.

"Go ahead like I even care. Now I'm going to go wash up after building mostly the whole shelter by myself!" I glare and walk over far away from the others and pull out my shirt and walk into the water. I was away from the others so I couldn't run into Marina either.

"I'm not werid, am I?" I said to the crab, but he scuttled away sideways. I noticed no on the creatures here had actually talked to be, so it was clear this wasn't my world. I decided that It had been enough time down under, so I saw to the top, only to realising I wasn't the only one in the lake. When I swam up, I was right in front of Peeta. It was like when we first met, we both jumped back. I tried to swim by back to the bank.
