Re: Fiction Island Roleplay
Bye!
"There's a difference?" I asked. I didn't know anything about sea plants and stuff. I didn't know much about the sea in general. I knew more about dog and stuff, to be honest.

Peeta
"That's hard to do when one loves the other and the other doesn't. That's why so many griends don't stay friends for long." I say and stab my knife into the woods hard having it stay there.

"Peeta..." I sighed, but I honestly wasn't sure what else I could say. "Maybe if we could be friends, it'll grow into something more than that, I don't know, but you've got to give me time." It was probably false hope, and Peeta probably wouldn't agree to it, but I had to try something. "I just don't want things to be bad between us, I want us to be able to be close to each other without arguing. Besides, arguing will only get us killed out here, we need to work as a team to survive, you know that."

Peeta
I roll my eyes and shake my head. "What don't you get. Me loving you and you just wanting to be friends will make things worse in life. You might go date someone else and I get all mad and shit can go down."

Re: Fiction Island Roleplay
"Trust me, I don't plan on dating anyone. Maybe if the Hunger Games came to an end, but who knows how long it's going to be until that happens." I grabbed some more vines and tied up some more walls. Then I gave Peeta a small, joking smile, trying to lighten up the situation. "Don't worry, you wont ever have any competition."
Re: Fiction Island Roleplay
Peeta
I shake my head and roll my eyes. This was getting annoying. Her saying I'm not dating even through I love her. I just felt my killing myself or something.

Re: Fiction Island Roleplay
Peeta was just getting mad at me again, even though I was trying my best to make things better. I rolled my eyes slightly and then looked over to Peeta. "Why wont you give me some time to think things through? Why are you so damn impatient about dating me?"

Re: Fiction Island Roleplay
Peeta yelling was too much. He had never yelled at me like that before and it made me want to go and curl up in a hiding spot and cry, becauase it felt as if I had lost the cheerful baker's son I cared about and I wasn't sure if I'd ever get him back. "I can understand, it's just..." What was the point in explaining things again? I had already explained it several times and I could feel tears threatening to escape so I didn't really have time to explain. The shelter was done anyway, so it's not as if I had to stay to finish it. "Just go to sleep and try to calm down. I want Peeta back, not this guy." I turned around them, picked up my bow and sheath of arrows from the floor, and left the lake. Tears were already starting to fall but I wiped them away, only allowing myself to really start crying once I had got into a tree. Eventually exhaustion took over and I just fell asleep in the tree, tired from being on watch duty last night, tired from doing so much today, and tired from crying.
Honey, who had stopped talking to Usa-chan when the yelling started, looked over to Peeta, then glared. He stood up with Usa-chan, walked over to Peeta and jumped up, kicking him square in the chest with so much force that it knocked Peeta into a tree. "Picking on my friends is a no-no!" He told Peeta before walking inside the shelter, preparing to sleep.

"Oh yes, I'm not to come with fresh water varieties but-" I lost my train of though when I heard the fighting start up again. I saw Katniss leave into the forest, and I was about to follow, but I waste sure. Then something completely random happened. Honey came over to Peeta and gave him a full of karate kick. It was so cool, yet scary. I was getting darker now, and Honey had gone into the shelter to sleep. I wondered whether I should of gone over to help Peeta up, but obviously I couldn't And he secretly deserved it anyway. "I'm going to find Katniss," I said to Bex. "I'll be back soon."
Re: Fiction Island Roleplay
"Ok, see ya." I felt like I should be going, because I knew so much about Katniss that I'd probably be able to figure out what was wrong and figure out a way to help, but I was a stranger to her, so it was probably better if Marina went. As Marina left, I checked to see if the bag was dry. It was a little damp, but it would have to do, so I carried it back to the pile of stuff and put it all back in. I looked over to where Peeta was lyig on the floor, thinking about whether or not I should help him up, but I knew that Honey wouldn't have kicked him unless he had upset Katniss, and I didn't want to help anyone who upset the Girl On Fire.
((And Katniss is crying in the tree so... Yeah... Pot noodle awaits! XD))

RAN-DOM!
I searched around for a while and then realised I should of been looking up, as I saw her crying, up in a tree. She always seemed so strong. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. I tried to climb up the tree opposite, as it had a large branch across from the one Katniss was on. I did, as Billy would say, fail at climbing trees, but eventually (after five minutes) I got up to the branch and state across from Katniss, who had stopped crying at the sight of my presence. "I don't understand," I say to her. "Why are you friends with someone like that? Yesterday you were cuddling up and now your having and an argument every second. I don't like seeing you upset."

((What's random? Me or the pot noodle? XD))
For a moment, when Marina climbed up into the tree next to me and sat on the branch closest to mine, she remind me of Rue when we first met, when the Careers trapped me up in a tree and she warned me about the Tracker Jackers, put I pushed that thought to the back of my mind before the painful memories of her deat could make a reappearance. "He's not usually like this." I explained as I wiped the tears from my eyes, not liking it when people saw me cry. "He's usually really nice, but today he's arguementative and mad and it's pretty much my fault." Because I didn't know whether I loved him or not, that was what was making Peeta angry now, not Marina, me. My tears continued to fall despite how many times I wiped them away. I was so confused and if I stayed confused, Peeta will just stay mad, but it wasn't as if I could tell my heart to figure out whst it wants or something, so how much longer would I have to put up with the mad Peeta? The anti-Peeta?

Re: Fiction Island Roleplay
"It's not your fault though," I said. "It's his problem. Maybe we should all just give him some space. Leave him be tomorrow and see if he will come around. In the meantime, we need to figure how to get home... I'll stay up and watch tonight. We were surpose to be taking turns so tonight I'll stay up and you sleep. It's only fair."
Re: Fiction Island Roleplay
Leave him be. I could do that, I had been leaving him be way before the Hunger Games, maybe until he had relaxed we cod go back to that. I nodded my head and wiped the final tears away with the sleeve of my dad's old hunting jacket, finshing my small breakdown. "Ok, you can be on guard tonight, just wake me up if there's danger, ok?" I had a weapon, afterall, and Marina didn't, and I doubted she'd be brave enough to use one anyway.
Re: Fiction Island Roleplay
"Okay," I said, nodding too. OH! Guard duty! I climbed down the tree, which was faster than getting up the tree, and walked back to camp with Katniss. As we walked back, I though of something I though I should tell Katniss, because it was so cool and it might be a way for the new girl and Katniss to connect, maybe. "I was talking to that girl by the lake and she said she knew about you and Peeta. Like, she could see your future, but she also knows about your past too. She doesn't know mine but I noticed she seems very fond of you. You should talk to her."
Re: Fiction Island Roleplay
I looked over to the advice girl who was packing Peeta's backpack again and then shook my head. "She's probably lying, Marina. No one can tell the future." But what if the impossible was true and she did see my past and future? Yes, it was completely impossible, but maybe I should talk to the girl tomorrow, just to confirm it. As I walked into the shelter, passing Peeta and ignoring him, I looked back to Marina and said, "Remember to wake me if there's danger." before I lay down in the corner furthest away from Honey, not wanting to disturb him, and trying to sleep.
Re: Fiction Island Roleplay
"Okey dokey," I said. I planted the logs were the old fire was and tried my best to make a spark to set it alight. It took, I would say, 15 minutes until finally the fire zoomed to life. HAZZAR! Fire! By that time the sun and finally left and the only light came from the fire, as a group of clouds had come by to block the stars and moon. I had sense and I knew that it would ran, however I could sense and storm maybe on it's way to the island, or my just brush it slightly in the days to come.
Re: Fiction Island Roleplay
Once Peeta's bag was packed, I walked over to Marina and sat down next to her. "So, what was up with her?" I asked, warming my hands and watching the flames brighten up the area. For a moment, I looked to the banana's and wondered if you could cook them. I doubted it though, so I turned my attention back to Marina.
Re: Fiction Island Roleplay
"Peeta again." I tell her. "He's just been really mean to her today and I think she needs a rest anyway. She was on guard duty all of last night so I think she needs some sleep too. I'm taking over." I knew I hadn't at a lot today, and I noticed Bex was looking at the bananas. Maybe she was hungry too. "Is there any food around we can have and roast on the fire?"
Re: Fiction Island Roleplay
I rolled my eyes and muttered. "It's not supposed to happen yet..." Before Marina asked food we could roast. "No really, just the meat, but we could try and find some nuts and stuff when the sun comes up." I sighed and then flopped onto my back. "Tomorrow will be a better day, or, at least, I hope it will be." It kind of sucked meeting fictional characters - two awesome fictional characters - for the first time only to have them arguing all the time. It took away from the coolness of meeting them.
Re: Fiction Island Roleplay
Ah ha! Bex (in the rp) has discovered that characters are not always as they are portrayed! Well, at least that they're not always shown completely.
