We had been walking for hours along the beach. Pan had finally stopped his nagging and became a seagull for me so he could see how far was the cliffs would be. It was long before we came to the cliffs, but they were to dangerous for us to see if there was any caves, so we decided to go through he forest and go around until we found another way to see if there was a cave. I was happy again now. We hadn't completely destroyed the compass, which was good. Maybe Alex and Danna had gone to the cave! Maybe they had found shelter there. But it still puzzled me how they could have just vanished as soon as the shelter collapsed. Had they even tried looking for me?

"You can use me as a support on the way back to the lake." I tell Katniss. "I can walk fine now." She was suffering back. I could see it in her face. She couldn't hide the pain. I think most of use were ready, though the man was still fixed by the fire. "Shall I go over and say it's time to go or what?" I ask Katniss, looking for advice on what to do with him. He hadn't moved much.

The others knew the guy, and didn't seem to be worried about him being here, so maybe it was ok for him to come along... Although, saying that, Cori seemed harmless, annoying but still harmless, and then he turned against us. What if this guy turned against us too? "I don't know." I told Peeta truthfully, completely ignoring his offer to use him as a support, even though. maybe once, I should really accept the offer. "Do you think we can trust him?"
