Personality: Karkat is very, well, crabby. He tends to shout a lot, rarely smiles, and hates most people until given a good reason to think otherwise. However, once he warms up to someone, he is an invaluable and reliable (if grumpy) companion.
Your story: Karkat is a troll from the planet Alternia. As a wiggler, he was actually not laid by the mothergrub, nor did he hatch in the caves, but instead his future self used ectobiology to create paradox slime clones of him, his friends, and their ancestors, which were then sent back in time and through space on meteors by portals attempting to protect a place called Skaia from a thing called The Reckoning. Karkat refuses to bloodtype when he chats with his friends, and is very insecure about his blood color, refusing to tell anyone the color.

Other than his unusual origins, he led a fairly normal life for a young troll. However, when he turned six sweeps old (about 13 earth years) he and his friends decided to play a game. A game that would lead to their rise as gods, and the creators of the humans' universe, and their fall, at the hands of an undefeatable enemy created by those they had created. ((AND THEN HE SOMEHOW ENDED UP HERE I dunno how plotshenanigans))
